Sheikh Osman

My name is Sheikh Osman and I am the Faith Advisor at Muslim Foster Network. My main responsibilities are to create and support Muslim Foster Network’s faith-based and religious activities. I am a key point of contact within MFN for clarity on religious opinions as well as being readily available resource for those wanting faith-based religious support and guidance within the fostering sector. I am responsible for making and sustaining engagement with Muslim scholars, Mosques, grassroot initiatives and community leadership. My role supports the Head of Operations at MFN in ensuring the organisation meets its core aims towards foster carers, care professionals and social workers of both Muslim and non-Muslim backgrounds as well as Muslim children in care.
